LAUNCH Elementary School is a school designed to integrate “typical” students and students with learning disabilities.  The inspiration for LAUNCH Elementary derives from a sturdy,  commanding ship.   The ship’s shape and bold, architectural angles is prominent in the architecture of LAUNCH Elementary.  Sharp, angled walls combined with durable, but comfortable textiles adds textural diversity and visually appealing interiors.  Striking colors such as maroon, rustic blue, and slate gray are part of the color scheme.  The main concept of the school is to help students “Launch” themselves on every wave of life so they will succeed.  While “launching themselves”, students will have the opportunity for group work, individual learning, and student to student mentoring.   The school provides an equal learning environment which creates a sophisticated, educational experience.  This will provide students with invaluable learning opportunities and a beautiful environment in which to “Launch” themselves.
