Mr. and Mrs. Vega wanted a Mid-Century Modern style in their home.  Mrs. Vega's mother is recently moving into their apartment and she is from Taiwan.  I used neutral colors in the main areas of Mr. and Mrs. Vega's apartment to let the beautiful nature from outside be the main focus of the apartment.  I also wanted a very open floor plan.  In order to achieve openess I created an open kitchen that flows into the great room.  I also wanted to create an area where Vincent, Marcela, and Romina could all enjoy their own style and cultural needs, so I incorporated Taiwanese elements into the Mid-Century Modern great room.
